GE Show: Points of Departure
GE presents fascinating challenges - with business units in so many industries, what do you feature? How do you show off the high-level thinking and innovation (often highly-techincal and difficult to understand), while reminding people that all these ideas come from real people?
Challenge
Creating a visualization that brings awareness to use of General Electric's products at airports across the world.
Approach
Created a visualization that uses the Google Maps API and the Flickr API to return geolocated images of 6000 of the world's most popular airports.

Impact
The visualization successfully showcased GE's global presence in the aviation industry.
